AFTER FREDDY

The singer's death was followed, years later, by John Deacon's definitive retirement in 1997. This event left Brian May and Roger Taylor as the only active members and the ones in charge of keeping the band's legacy alive, something they have been able to do with great success.

With the arrival of the new millennium, the British group has undertaken a series of international tours. In 2004, the Queen adventure began with Paul Rodgers, and since 2011, his accompanist in all concerts has been Adam Lambert, with whom May and Taylor have shown a great connection on stage.

Although the flame of Queen is still alive, it is logical and evident to think that everything will come to an end at some point. This idea has been stressed by Brian May in a recent interview for Planet Rock, in which he assured that "there will come a time" when life on the road "will stop working" for him and Roger Taylor.
